Welcome Greeting Dear friends and colleagues, It is a great honor for me to invite you to take part in the 6th International ESLO Congress which will be held in Barcelona, Spain, from 30th June to 4th July, 2004. The ESLO congresses have become the most important international event of Lingual Orthodontics, thanks to its high scientific level and because of being the congress where the most important innovations and investigations in this field are presented. The massive participation of experts, not only from Europe, but from all continents, gives to this event more and more international character. The spirit of fellowship , also very traditional for our society, has been reigning from congress to congress, being the unique opportunity to get to know all the leaders in the specialty, or to regather with them. Having in mind to make this event even more interesting, we have introduced some novelties. In order to encourage even more the interactive character of the Congress, we have created Roundtable Discussions, where one can discuss personally on different subjects or consult cases during breakfast. The ESLO, together with the SIAOL, work to offer you a scientific program based on excellence as well as an intensive social program for participants and accompanying persons. This is also a special opportunity to visit Barcelona after the architectonic reconstruction due to the celebration of The International Forum of Cultures and the year of Dalí which will take place in this very same year, 2004. Many experts assure that this transformation of the city is as great, or even greater than the other one that was held in 1992, when Barcelona was the host of the Olympic Games. Barcelona, with its well-known multicultural and cosmopolitan character, is a city with enormous diversity of cultural and historical contents as much as entertaining and joyful.
