Lecture Application

  
  • All attendees who want to participate in the Congress Program as a Lecturer, MUST be inscribed to the Congress.

  • Lectures Applications DEADLINE is 31st December, 2003.

  • All applicants will be mailed or e-mailed the confirmation of APPLICATION RECEIPT by ESLO in not more than 10 days. Should the applicant not receive the confirmation of application receipt, the applicant is recommended to send the application again.
    Once the Congress Program time-table is scheduled, no more applications will be taken into consideration.

  • Important! You can submit the application by MAIL, by FAX or ON-LINE.


    • MAIL: If the application is mailed, a 3 ¼ diskette must be enclosed containing the Word Microsoft file of abstract and CV (if the photo is not attached to the application form, then a jpg file of a photo must be enclosed on a 3 ¼ diskette, too, or sent by e-mail).
    • FAX: If the application is faxed, Word Microsoft files of abstract and CV as well as the jpg file of a photo must be sent by e-mail (info@eslo.info).


    • ON-LINE:You can submit congress participation application on our web-site www.eslo.info by clicking on "ABSTRACTS". If so, the photo must be sent by e-mail.

  • All applications must have a short CV of an author, giving the information on his/her education and experience in Orthodontics and Lingual Orthodontics.

  • All applications must have abstracts. APPLICATIONS RECEIVED WITHOUT AN ABSTRACT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

  • DISCLOSURE OF VISUAL ENHANCEMENT is a statement included on the application indicating whether or not the presenter or the co-presenter use enhanced, modified, or altered visuals in their presentation. THE DISCLOSURE STATEMENT MUST BE COMPLETED OR THE APPLICATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

  • Each lecturer will be allotted 25 minutes for the speech presentation. The time schedule must be strictly respected.

  • The abstract should contain the objective of the lecture and it cannot contain more than 350 words.

  • Audiovisual equipment provided by ESLO:


    • 3 slide projectors
    • 1 computer projector
    • Microphone
    • Laser pointer
    Additional audiovisual equipment is the sole responsibility of the lecturer.

  • Roundtable Discussion Breakfast Application

  • All attendees who want to participate in the Congress Program as a Roundtable leader, MUST be inscribed to the Congress.

  • Roundtable Discussion Breakfast Applications DEADLINE is 31st December, 2003.

  • The leader is obliged to present the Roundtable in person during 10 minutes. The other 50 minutes are reserved for questions and discussion.

  • Cancellations must be submitted in written as soon as possible. IF THE LEADER CANNOT BE PRESENT DUE TO EMERGENCY, THE LEADER MUST FIND THE QUALIFIED REPLACEMENT.

  • Any costs incurred to participate in the Roundtable breakfast are the sole responsibility of the leader.

    • ESLO will not pay for registration fees, handouts, travel, or housing expenses and will not provide any honorarium, stipend, or any other form of payment.

  • Scientific Posterboard Exhibit Application

  • The exhibitor is obliged to present the Scientific Posterboard in person.

  • Cancellations must be submitted in written as soon as possible. IF THE EXHIBITOR CANNOT BE PRESENT DUE TO EMERGENCY, THE EXHIBITOR MUST FIND THE QUALIFIED REPLACEMENT.

  • Any costs incurred to participate in the scientific Posterboards Exhibits are the sole responsibility of the exhibitor.

    • ESLO will not pay for registration fees, handouts, travel, or housing expenses and will not provide any honorarium, stipend, or any other form of payment.

  • The exhibitors are requested to stay with the Posterboard during display hours to answer questions.

  • The clinician is obliged to present the Table Clinic in person.

  • Cancellations must be submitted in written as soon as possible. IF THE CLINICIAN CANNOT BE PRESENT DUE TO EMERGENCY, THE CLINICIAN MUST FIND THE QUALIFIED REPLACEMENT.

  • Any costs incurred to participate in the scientific Table Clinic Display are the sole responsibility of the clinician.

    • ESLO will not pay for registration fees, handouts, travel, or housing expenses and will not provide any honorarium, stipend, or any other form of payment.
  • Table clinicians are expected to stay with the Table Clinic during display hours to answer questions.
