One of the currently most spread orthodontic techniques is the Straight Wire Technique. The excellence of the obtained results and treatment objectives fulfilment with this technique depend on two pillars that support the "Straight Wire", and they are: the accuracy of the diagnosis and precision of the brackets positioning and bonding on the teeth.

Desired and foreseen results normally are not achieved once the finishing archwire is not active any more, so the orthodontists have to carry out different types of compensations:

Brackets repositioning and rebonding
Finishing positioners and many other things, in order to obtain the best occlusion in patient.

The differences between treatment goals and obtained results appear due to:

The Indirect bonding consists of brackets positioning and fixing on the plaster model cast, transference tray fabrication, and brackets bonding of the whole arch into the mouth at the only one appointment.

The adhesive cannot be infected by the saliva and the brackets remain immobile during the curing, the reason why the bonding quality increases and the number of "debondings" decreases, and the chairtime reduces, too.

The brackets positioning on the model cast is carried out with a sophisticated and precise instrument: "The Slot Machine", designed by Dr. Thomas Creekmore.

It can be carried out in all the techniques and with all types of the brackets: metal, plastic, porcelain, and also for the lingual technique where the indirect bonding is indispensable.

The orientation of the slot can be carried out in all planes, which permits to modify the brackets parameters: height, in-out, rotation, angulation, and torque.

We can fabricate the positioning tray according the pre-angulation indicated by you, and we also can advise you the most adequate prescription for the case, depending on the model casts and radiographic tracings of the patient.

The diagnosis computer-aided and it has its own software. All the cases are supervised by Dr. Pablo Echarri, who was trained in this technique in Huston, Texas, by Dr. Tomas Creekmore.
